We are going to be targeting your Quads on this exercise with a added on bonus of your Glutes For this exercise to avoid injury your going to need a stand (squat stand), place your bar onto the stand. Rest your shoulders on the bar and your hands grip the bar either side with palms facing forward take the weight off the rack. It is vital to ensure the bar is resting on the muscle on the back of your shoulders. Lower yourself down with your back straight until your thighs are close to parallel with the floor. Practice, practice, practice try this exercise out with light weights until you can master the technique, always keep your back straight, the benefits of this exercise are great.
