One Leg Standing Calf RaiseIsolation
Were going to be working on your Calf’s during this great little exercise that can be do with or while you get your balance without weight, Always keep your knees stiff but not locked in order to best isolate the calf muscles. Ok so find yourself a step, for example we will look at stepping with the right leg. Stand on your step (if you use a dumbbell for added weight ensure it is on the same side as the foot you are going to raise) lock the left leg behind the right one and move up and down be careful not to Bend and straighten the knees during the raise - this brings the quads and glutes into the movement, reducing the tension on the calves.
