Prior to commencing on any of our weight training programmes, it is wise to stretch, failure to stretch could lead to injury, however not only does stretching reduce the risk of injury but also allows you to get the most from you exercise programme.

When you exercise, your muscles contract and relax, contract and relax. The repeated contraction can lead to shortening up of the muscles. Stretching helps prevent this. Many injuries are caused by poor flexibility.

The programme here is comprehensive and selected to give full exercice of your major muscle groups prior to and following weight training.
